Malta, Get Ready, Again. AVION Shortlisted For Creative Excellence 2026
14.05.2026

We woke up to good news from Malta. AVION Supersonic has just been officially shortlisted in the CREATIVE EXCELLENCE 2026 category at the SiGMA Europe Awards. That makes three continents, three shortlists, and one stubbornly fast crash gambling game still doing what it was built to do: refuse to be boring.
The Nomination At Its Best
The SiGMA Europe Awards is the iGaming industry's annual roll call of studios that moved the category forward. Creative Excellence is the category for brands that did not just ship a product but built a cultural moment around it. We are honored to be on that list, but we’re not pretending to be surprised.
The ceremony takes place on May 27 at the Casino Maltese in Valletta.
Voting is open until May 18, and you can cast yours Malta Awards Vote.
Why A Crash Gambling Game Made The Creative Excellence Shortlist
AVION Supersonic is the plane gambling game we built when we got tired of waiting. The whole category had slowed down. Rounds dragged. Players churned. So we ripped up the playbook for what a crash crypto game could feel like and rebuilt it from the propeller up.
Our CEO put it plainly:
"We did not build AVION to be polite. We built it to be the fastest thing in the room. To see Lambda shortlisted at SiGMA Europe, after winning in Brazil and Africa this year, tells us the industry is finally rewarding studios that take a real swing. Malta, see you on May 27." — David Nardaia, CEO, Lambda Gaming
Faster Than Anything Else On The Runway
AVION runs 5x faster rounds than the average crash gambling game in the category. That speed unlocks +225% more bets per session and +600% more round cycles for operators. Super lightweight build, which means it actually loads in markets where data is expensive. That is what a modern crash game provider should look like in 2026.
Built For Operators, Played By Everyone
We are a casino game provider that thinks like a player, building crash and slot titles across LATAM, Africa, Asia, and now Europe. We know what bores users out of a session, and we engineer against it. The airplane gambling game category did not need another lookalike. It needed a reset.
Three Continents, Three Shortlists
This is not our first awards run this year. The pattern is not an accident:
- Most Played Game 2026 at SiGMA Africa. Won.
- Best Marketing Campaign 2026 at SiGMA South America. Won.
- Creative Excellence 2026 at SiGMA Europe. Shortlisted, voting now.
We treat every market launch like a campaign, every campaign like a cultural drop, and every plane crash game round like a chance to outpace the category.
The Funeral Party That Got Us Here
If you were at SiGMA Brazil this year, you saw us throw a funeral. Booth H165. Graves. An eulogy for 90-second rounds. The Funeral Party for Slow Games was the activation that everyone photographed and most operators are still talking about. It was the moment everyone saw, but the Europe nomination is built on everything around it. The campaigns. The launches. The way we showed up in every market this year. Not the safe iGaming marketing, but loud iGaming marketing. Backed by a product that holds up when you click play.
How to Vote
Voting closes on May 18. If you have ever played a Lambda Gaming title, partnered with us as an operator, or just enjoy watching a small studio out-create the big ones, you know what to do.
